Several weeks ago when I was organizing my home office space, I spotted a small globe at Target and decided I had to have it for my bookshelf—a little added travel inspiration and a fun distraction when I need it. That purchase reignited my old fascination with globes, which started with my parents’ when I was small. Theirs sits on a tall base, and I used to love standing in front of it, spinning it, and then stopping it by jabbing my fingertip onto its surface at random and seeing which far-off country it had landed on, then imagining what it was like there. I have an antique-looking globe that’s traveled up and down the East Coast with me in all of my moves, and now with my new addition from Target, I might get a collection going. Next up would be this globe light from Chairish. In the mean time, here are a few globe-inspired goodies (including one very cool—and expensive—clutch) I’ve found at random online over the last few weeks.
Do you have globes in your home or wardrobe?
