Favorites From Around the Web: July 26, 2015

I’ve been a little off kilter with my posting schedule lately. I originally planned to share a “Favorites From Around the Web” post every Friday to kick off the weekend. Last weekend I was traveling and didn’t get around to it, so I shared that post on the following Monday instead. For one reason or another, I missed putting up the post this past Friday, too. So, with fear of inundating everyone with weekly web roundup posts but for the sake of getting back on schedule, here’s the post that should’ve gone up on Friday. The next one will come next Friday, and then every Friday after that. Thanks for bearing with me, and enjoy these tasty tidbits from around the web!

HOME & DESIGN

How fun to see one bathroom styled four different ways!

I’d love to curl up with a girly mag on the sand under one of these cute beach tents.

LIFE

Good advice on how to adjust in a new city.

This blog post about the magic of not trying so hard really struck a chord.

TRAVEL

If you live in New York, you can fly to Norway on the cheap!

Meet the newest group of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

FOOD & DRINK

A miracle is happening over at Ben & Jerry’s for the lactose-intolerant and vegans of the world!

In case you missed the boat on the occasion like I did, here’s some hot fudge sundae inspiration. (Last night I posted the photo above to Instagram in honor of the occasion.)

SOCIAL (AND OLD-SCHOOL) MEDIA

Potentially more sad news from the publishing world.

This Instagram feed is so clever and fun.

This is what happens when you lay off of Facebook’s “Like” button completely.

P.S.—I’m trying out a new theme here on the blog. Love it? Hate it? Let me know what you think!
